OUR VISION
Junior Padilla had the vision of cultivating soulful music in a place where so many talented writers, musicians, and artists call their home. Based in the Nashville, Tennessee area, JPAD Music is connected with some of the best musicians from all over the world. Our purpose is produce music that will stand the test of time, make the listener feel the intent of the songwriter, and bring out the most deepest expressions of of artists.
OUR TEAM
JPAD Music consists of Music Producer/Drummer Junior Padilla, a multi instrumentalist, composer, and certified engineer, and touring musician, with many years of experience working with some of top musicians in Nashville.
Recording Artist, Songwriter, Vocal Producer Melody Alvarado is an accomplished singer and saxophonist, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Studies and brings world experience as someone who has toured all over the world.
OUR PROCESS
Our process can start anywhere in your recording project depending on where we need to meet our client’s needs. Most of the time we start with an idea for a song and help the artist bring those ideas to life in songwriting sessions with Producer JP.
The song is first and foremost the most important criteria we work on before even discussing production.
Once we all agree that the song is ready to be recorded, we begin with recording a scratch track of the song or “DEMO.” This will guide us in knowing the format of the song and start arranging, writing music, and charts.
Depending on the vision of the project, Production can start from there along with the hiring of live musicians when needed to lay down the basic tracks. Then we can go on to overdubs, editing, and the last recording parts involved the vocal performance.
Teamed up with JP and Melody as a vocal coach and arranger we help the artist deliver the most stunning performance possible in our state of the art recording studio. After the artist lays their heart out the next step is to Mix & Master the song.
We provide mixing and mastering services, however we welcome the artist to choose their own mixing and mastering engineer if they choose to.
We understand that mixing and mastering is an intimate decision of the artist just like choosing their music producer.
This will ensure that you get the final recording within your budget, without feeling like sacrificing the highest quality achievable. Our aim is to deliver a completed song that will stand the test of time.
